Hands down, the most common way to use essential oils is to diffuse them. But what if you don’t own a diffuser, does that mean that you can’t use essential oils aromatically? Absolutely not! You can still use essential oils in lots and lots ways to scent your entire home. In fact, even if you do own a diffuser, you will probably still want to use some of these essential oil hacks.

1. Essential Oil Beeswax Candles

Beeswax is my top choice when it comes to candles. Not only do beeswax candles not contain all of the typical junk that regular candles do, but beeswax, when burned, releases negative ions into the air. In other words, it helps filter the air. Just bear in mind that beeswax has a subtle, sweet smell and that you will want to use an essential oil that compliments it. My personal favorites are citrus scents like orange and grapefruit.
